Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, every baker has a set of tools required to make their pastries and cakes perfect. If you are a beginner, make sure to add these tools to your existing list of things to buy and if you are a professional, then add any of these missing tools to your collection to make your baking easier, faster and fabulous.
Measuring cups and spoons
Every baker knows that precision is key in baking. Make sure you have all possible measuring cups and spoons in your collection to accurately measure your ingredients before you start to combine them. There are separate measuring cups and spoons for dry and wet ingredients. You will probably use these tools the most so it is best to equip yourself with a wider variety of cups and tablespoons.

While this is its primary use, whisks are quite an important tool as it helps combine the dry ingredients well. They make your tasks easier as well so add one in to your basket.
Rolling pins
A definite helping hand when it comes to rolling out those pie crusts and cookie dough. If you can’t be bothered to get that food processor working, then you can simply put in the cookies, chips or whatever you need crushed into a Ziploc bag and give it a good beating using the rolling pin to achieve the result you were looking for.
Fine-mesh sieve
A sieve can be put in to work in different ways. For bakers, a sieve comes in handy when you need to sift those dry ingredients such as flour and coco powder. It can also be used to lightly dust your delicious brownies and chewy cookies with some powdered sugar.

Baking pans and sheets
Once you are done making the batters and dough, you need the right pan to pour in your combined ingredients, bake it and obtain your finished product. Make sure to equip yourself with a variety of pans depending on what you are planning on making. You need to line your pans with baking sheets to prevent them from sticking on to the pans as well.
